“Animated Classics The Christmas Collection” – This is an incredible 2 Disc Dual Layer DVD set that contains 10 cartoons – almost 7 hours of video. (Dual Layer holds 4 hours of uncompressed video) This amazing collection has the last of the Rankin/ Bass Stop- Motion cartoons currently not available on DVD along with other rare Christmas favorites also not available on DVD.

This 2-Disc set is professionally authored and presented in order of its original air date as well as a DVD cover as pictured.  It also comes with a colorful insert which has descriptions of each cartoon and artwork on each DVD. This set also contains the last Rakin/Bass stop motion animation from 1985 “The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus” taken from the L. Frank Baum Story of the same name.

This set contains the voice talents of Jim Backus, Robby Benson, Tom Bosley, Art Carney, Barbara Feldon, Alan King, Angela Lansbury, Walter Matthau & among others.
